How to Audition
Auditions are simple! All you have to do is
1) Record a short video of yourself answering a few questions and singing an excerpt of a song, and
2) Fill out the audition form via the link below!
Video guidelines:
Please submit a video no longer than 3 minutes. The video should include the following components:
1) Introduction! Tell me your name, age, and a brief musical background.
2) Take a minute to talk about what kinds of things YOU are looking for in a vocal group. What is important to you in a group of singers? What do you hope to find in this group? What do you hope to accomplish as an individual? What do you hope to accomplish as a group? (This is very open-ended. I really just want to hear about what you are looking for by joining this choir. There are no right or wrong answers!)
3) Please sing 30-45 seconds of a pop song of your choice—or demonstrate 30-45 seconds of vocal percussion along to a song of your choice. You can sing a cappella or along to a karaoke track.Please upload your video to YouTube and set as UNLISTED (not private, otherwise I won't be able to see it!). Once uploaded, please copy and paste the link in the audition form below.
